CPL Helicopter FAA Ground School

This Commercial Pilot Licence (H) online ground school is designed to satisfy the FAA CPL Helicopter curriculum. We have developed this course as we prepare to become an FAA approved satellite training center outside of the USA. We hope to bring high-quality US aviation training right within our walls.

ABOUT THE FAA PPL COURSE

Subscription to this course allows the student to access our online ground school which comprises of interactive materials, video footage (animated and actual) as well as text resources. The student is also automatically granted free access to our online TestPrep site which has thousands of mock exams shuffled from over 20 question banks. The TestPrep site is synchronised to our Android App and also comes free to our students.

FAA KNOWLEDGE TESTS

Our students will be able to sit for the FAA knowledge tests at our main campus in Lilongwe. All tests will be proctored and will be video recorded.

FLYING TRAINING

Students enrolled in the FAA curriculum will be flight-instructed by our FAA certified flight instructors. All students’ training flights are scheduled through our Flight Booking Portal. Students may connect the Eastrise booking site to their Google Calendar and will thus receive automated reminders. Please note that the ground school fees do not include flying training (aircraft booking) and examination fees which must be paid for separately.

STUDENT CHECKRIDE

Our FAA approved Chief Flying Instructor (a designated pilot examiner) will administer checkrides. We will then send the details by courier to the FAA and they will upon review and satisfaction, issue a pilot licence (commonly called pilot certificate in the USA).
