A normal reCAPTCHA should look like the one in the image above. However, it may sometimes not take its normal appearance. This will prevent you from a successful login to the Eastrise website or any other subdomain within our network. In this topic, we discuss how to troubleshoot CAPTCHA loading issues. According to Wikipedia, a CAPTCHA (/kæp.tʃə/) is an acronym for Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart”). It is a type of challenge–response test used in computing to determine whether or not the user is human. The main purpose is to prevent automated robots (simply called bots) to execute commands to our website (and any website or application where the CAPTCHA is installed) so that our website is not overloaded.
What to do when a CAPTCHA fails to load
Usually a CAPTCHA that has failed to load will have a different display. It may show a red warning that reads ‘CAPTCHA failed to load’ or just an image with an empty CAPTCHA as can be seen in the image below.
To troubleshoot the problem, simply reload the page and check if it is now available. If it fails to load, there could be problems with your internet connectivity or our system. Firstly, try to load another page and see if it is loading correctly. If the other page loads successfully, be sure to clear your browser history (cache) and try again.
