As the name suggests, the Principles of Flight course introduces you to the art and science behind flight. For most students, taking this course before starting flight training is extremely helpful.
Again there are cross-cutting topics with the Aircraft General Knowledge and the Operational Procedures courses. We therefore highly recommend that you take these three as a batch to cement your understanding.
ASSESSMENT
Students undergo a computer-based assessment upon completion of every section. There are also over 300 revision questions at the end of the module.
Certification exams (knowledge tests as they are called) are administered by the Civil Aviation Authority. Eastrise Aviation will only book students for the exams unless the student:
- Has successfully completed ground training
- Attains a consistent score of 80% in internal assessments
- Has completed the revision questions
- Does not have outstanding ground school fees
Please note that examination fees are the responsibility of the student. Ground school fees do not include examination fees or any incindentals.
