The General Navigation module in the Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) course develops the knowledge and skills required to plan, conduct, and monitor flights safely and efficiently. It covers charts, maps, dead reckoning, time, speed, distance calculations, flight planning, and navigation procedures, forming a vital foundation for professional pilot operations.
STUDENT ASSESSMENT
Student assessment is conducted through multiple-choice questions (MCQs) at the end of each section, followed by a final end-of-module assessment. The required pass mark is 75%; however, students must also demonstrate a clear understanding and practical competence in the concepts, not merely achieve a passing exam score.
