This course prepares you for both the written and oral exams for the restricted and general radiotelephony certificate.
Some lessons are also examinable in the Air Law as well as the Operational Procedures modules. This module is delivered over a period of 2 weeks. You will be required to complete this course and pass the exams before you start your flight training.
What’s inside this course?
We have both audio, text and video resources to maximise your learning experience. There are audio simulations which we developed in-house as well as external resources. You will also have access to mock exams.
Will I receive a certificate?
You will need to sit for and pass the two official exams (commonly called knowledge- and oral tests) at the Malawi CAA. They will then issue a radiotelephony certificate as well as a notification of results.
It is worth mentioning though that the Malawi Aviation (Personnel Licencing) Regulations of 2013 empower approved training organisations (ATOs) like Eastrise Aviation to issue a certificate for every course of study that a student successfully completes. It is on this understanding that we will issue certificates of completion when you complete some courses.
